OUR MISSION STATEMENT
“The mission is to honor pioneers and distinguished faculty and alumni, establish funding sources to award scholarships to students at Peabody Magnet High School who have been accepted to accredited colleges and universities, and plan and schedule special and fundraising events.”
"A Blast From the Past"
Classes 1970-1979
On August 25, 2023, Alexandria Louisiana was inundated with over six hundred (600) former students representing Peabody High School/Peabody Magnet High School. For the first time in the school’s history, the classes of 1970 – 1979 came together to support this historic alma mater in the establishment of a Scholarship Endowment Foundation, as well as to reconnect with long-time friends. The school was named Peabody because of a grant that was given by Mr. George Peabody of the George Peabody Foundation.​
